We are a Canadian-based golf review platform focused on helping beginners and mid-handicap golfers make smarter equipment decisions.
Choosing the right golf equipment can be overwhelming, especially with so many options and marketing claims. We simplify that process by breaking down what actually works for beginners and mid-handicap golfers. Our content is designed for everyday golfers.
We test and evaluate golf equipment with a focus on real-world usability, not just manufacturer specifications.
Our goal is simple: Help golfers find the right equipment at the best value.
Every recommendation we make is guided by this principle.
If you are a tour-level player looking for highly specialized equipment, this content may not be the right fit.
Based in Vancouver, BC, we focus on golf equipment that delivers performance and value for everyday players across Canada and the U.S.
We partner with leading golf retailers to bring you the latest deals, while maintaining full editorial independence in our reviews.
What We Do

We test and review golf clubs, bags, balls, apparel, and accessories from brands like TaylorMade, Callaway, Titleist, Ping, Cobra, and more. Every recommendation is based on real research and independent analysis.

Rohit Prakash
I’ve been playing golf since 2006, starting out in India before bringing my game to Canada over a decade ago. Since then I’ve played courses across the Vancouver Mainland — from Vancouver and Richmond to Surrey, Coquitlam, Abbotsford, and Langley — giving me a genuine feel for what Canadian golfers need from their equipment through all kinds of conditions.
My handicap has ranged from 12 to 24 over the years, which puts me squarely in the mid-handicap bracket I write about most. I know firsthand what it feels like to struggle with inconsistency, and I know the difference a well-fitted, well-priced set of clubs can make.
As an accountant by profession, I bring a value-focused mindset to every review. I’m not interested in hype — I want to know if a club is actually worth the money, and whether a certified pre-owned option delivers the same performance for less. That’s the ValRecycle Golf philosophy: smart gear decisions for real golfers.
